Hi everyone!

Kat here with your weekly update for all things dolly and not in the world of PK :D. The World of Warcraft realms are down because it’s patch day so I’ve got a bit of time to sit here and do nothing but write to you lovely folks. (This seems to be a trend between Cam and I, writing while we’re bored.) Anyway, lots of stuff happening!

I went out to Michael’s last weekend and bought a ton of stuff to start getting the esthetics under way. I’m still missing about half of my supplies right now but until Dream of Doll restocks their tools I’m going to be. I’ve ordered Jorryn, so he should be along fairly soon I hope. His eyes are on their way from Volks now as well as a pair of boots from Pupa Paradise.

Umm.. I got my pastels today from Blick. They’re absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait to start working with them. I spent a good hour just swatching them out in my sketchbook so they’ve all got a reference number. I’m OCD, what can I say?

Also, I’m still waffling on whether or not I want to go to Anime North this year. I kind of want to, but at the same time because it’s on May 24 weekend the hotel prices are through the damn roof, and I don’t know if I can justify spending $300 on a hotel room for 2 nights, an hour away from where I live, just so I’ve got somewhere to store my dollfie and my laptop and anything I buy so I don’t have to cart it all around with me all weekend like some kind of hobo.

I’m rambling.

Still, I want to go. But it’s a lot of money that I could be putting elsewhere, like, toward my Tender E-an, or my DoB Arie (though the way their headcaps open scares me slightly now I’m taking a closer look.)

Soooo yeah. I think I’m done now.

Shine bright, childrens
